Recipe for a Christmas smoothie
The first snow has fallen, the year is officially coming to an end! Another sign: Christmas is just a few weeks away. So it's high time for a vitamin-rich and festive smoothie recipe with a hint of Christmas cinnamon.
It's currently apple and pear season, so the local fruit can be found in every supermarket. They are the main ingredient in our smoothie.
Ingredients for 2 portions:
1 ripe banana
1-2 juice oranges
1 pinch of cinnamon
Wash and core the fruit (apple, pear) and cut into 4-5 small pieces. Place the apple and pear in the blender with the peeled banana. Halve and squeeze the oranges and add the orange juice to the blender with a pinch of cinnamon. Blend everything well for 15-20 seconds and your Christmas smoothie is ready. Pour into a glass and garnish with a little cinnamon.
Don't have any fresh oranges to hand? No problem, you can also use a high-quality direct orange juice as an alternative to freshly squeezed juice. For a particularly light preparation, use very ripe fruit. This is particularly important with pears, which can also be a little soft - this allows them to release the most juice.
